The Tringle Show 3D [BETA] » Devlog
Hello, world! This is Pizberry.
We're having trouble indexing The Tringle Show 3D. It's not showing up in recommendations, recent games, or in search results on the itch.io platform. Therefore, I'm adding a regular zip file instead of the game installer. I've contacted support for assistance, but they haven't responded to our indexing issue yet. To ensure the game finally appears in search results, I ask that you visit our game page once or download it (the best option). Also, if you're interested in the game, you can play it. There are no updates at the moment, but I'm actively developing one of the key characters in the game: Todd Porter. Thank you for reading to the end! Don't forget to join our Discord!

What's "recommendations"?
Traffic should in theory make waiting time shorter, but the other games on the waiting list have traffic too. So it will probably be a few weeks.
If your installer would have been a problem, your game would have been quarantined. It is not quarantined. Your game was just put on the manual waiting list and staff has a lot to do. Do not overthink it.
The game is only at v0.1. Make a devlog when significant changes occur and you might get put on recent again. But that is dependent on staff time and approval.
Hi, thank you for your replies both in the posts and here for the clarification. I want to respond here regarding your last answer on the post and your recommendations about itch. When I wrote that post, I was in despair. It was my first time dealing with this. Honestly, I’m still scared that I won’t be able to popularize the game on itch in any way. So, to not waste time, I’m promoting it on TikTok. I’m planning to keep a development log on itch, just like you said. Thank you for explaining everything briefly here and in detail in the post.
Actually, I think this system isn’t very good, because it still doesn’t protect against low-quality pages on itch. I would automate the process, for example: if there is a background, a non-default color, many screenshots, and a trailer — then it should add points. The more points, the higher the page appears in the list. This way, authors who truly want to promote their game on itch would be indexed immediately or within a day.
And about the FAQ — it’s very poor documentation. It doesn’t explain anything at all. It’s like going to a psychologist who says, “everything is fine, it’s not your fault,” but never explains why it’s “fine.” They should at least write the average review time for a page, what it’s for, and so on.
I also have some suspicions about Butler. I think that if you publish a game using the regular upload button (not through Butler), then the page gets indexed immediately, or at least faster than a game published through Butler.
Anyway, thanks for the reply. I would be glad if you continue following my games — at least just subscribe to my itch.
If the translation is not accurate again, I sincerely apologize.
